forever heatwave

the summer heat this year is sort of unbearable. the term unbearable goes differently for everyone, i suppose. still, i think it can be agreed that the weather is torrid. the air feels like a sauna — but there really ain't a door for you to simply walk out.

imagine being a plant in this heat. actually, that's a bad idea — don't want to end up like the plants on the sidewalk, crisp, that are showing how their vacuoles are quite…not functioning as they should, to say. still can't be blamed on the plants.

this summer, autumn doesn't seem to want to come. if i was autumn, i guess i'd let summer go on a little longer; take an easy job. i could simply say, "i'm sparing the trees a bit," since their mother has suffered many times — more and more as each summer comes to pass.

still, i suppose, if i was summer, i'd complain that autumn, people love too much; it's not like autumn had always been so, you know, much of a salvation. people simply forget, i wasn't always this hot.

well, it is true, the summer heat this year is sort of unbearable, with the sidewalks sizzling, the sun showering light always, and factually speaking, no more of a need to go to a sauna anymore (because there's one everywhere except the North and South Poles, and a few other atypical places).

though i feel bad for summer, but I can't deny that I'm waiting for autumn to do its job. it's legit searing hot right now.
