This writing piece is about is about interviewing OYIS teachers and students to understand more about them. On 2024 May 15, we interviewed Chelsea from Grade 5.

Interview to Chelsea

-What do you enjoy most about being a student at OYIS? I enjoy talking with the teachers because they're better than the ones in my school.

-Where was your school before you came here? Hong Kong. Do you want to add on to that? I don't exactly know.

-When did you come here? I came here in 2022.

-Do you enjoy life in your home country or Japan more? I can't choose.

-What do you enjoy about your home country&What do you enjoy about Japan? The things I enjoy about my home country are that my family lives there, so when I visit, I can eat dinner or just meet up with them. And the thing I like about Japan is that the people are nicer than Hongkong.

-What do you dislike or would want to change about being in OYIS? I enjoy the points that the students are nice and also teachers are kind. The education here is better.

-What is your favorite food in Japan? Sushi, There are a lot of things I like. How about takoyaki? Okay, that's good.
